Social Awareness

Social Awareness

While the advancements in technology has greatly helped mankind take quantum leaps in development, research has shown that with the spurt in Social Networking, Digital communication, and other forms of new media based engagements today’s youth have less empathy than the previous generations due to the lack of real-time in-person social engagements. At Imperial we provide youngsters with the right mix of activities and an environment to help build empathy – empathy towards their immediate surroundings and social environment and towards the community at large. Our students are expected to participate in a variety of social outreach programs, including spending a day at various orphanages, participating in green drives including tree plantations etc., conducting social awareness camps like Voter Awareness programs, Blood donation Camps and participating in keeping their city and its environs clean by volunteering in centrally government run programs such as the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan etc.
